"Broken leg and ankle"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

Anything else?

After an accident at home, On February 19th, when I broke my leg and ankle, I was treated in A&E. I would like the Consultant and all the staff who were involved in my treatment and care to know that I am very grateful for their skill, patience and humour. I am still in the care, as an outpatient, of the Consultant and am making a good recovery, despite suffering a brain haemorrhage several days after my discharge from Royal Oldham, from which I have also made a remarkable recovery.

I would like to add my admiration for the cooks. In eleven days as an inpatient, all my meals were very good, and some were delicious. All main meals were served whilst still hot.

My gratitude goes to all the staff - surgical, nursing and ancillary - at Royal Oldham.
