I attended the children's A&E department after my 2 year old son had fallen and hurt his foot. The department was clean with plenty of toys and books to entertain children and a vending machine which sold some healthy snacks which we were very grateful for. Despite the department being very busy we were in and out in under 2.5 hours which included a wait for an x-ray. Whilst obviously busy the staff were incredibly caring and professional and took the time to ensure that that I understood what I was being told. I was very impressed with the overall experience.
