Anything else?
On Wednesday pm at about 4.30 ( after shift change ) I was very tired after transfusion of 3 units of red blood cells.the transfusion machine bleeped for at least 20minutes to show that the transfusion was complete. After waiting for a nurse to attend I asked a cleaner to come and check on a elderly patient who had been in the toilet for a long time, He proved to be ok. I asked the nurse attending to remove my cannula. They said they would 'in a minute' and disconnected my machine from the socket on the wall. After waiting a further 20 minutes I went into the corridor where I saw them giving out medicine from the trolley. I challenged them saying wordsto the effect 'you said you'd be back in a minute' They said words fct. I haven't forgotten you- this being 20 mins after they told me they'd be 'back in a minute' Ther was a second nurse on duty. They seemed to be tidying up a sideroom. From what I observed I believe that the nurse had told her to ignore me. I continued to stand in the corridor. The first nurse told the other nurse to temove to cannula which they could have done at least 20 earlier.
"treated disrepectfully /deliberately kept waiting"
