"Standards of NHS appalling !"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

Anything else?

My husband was recently ill with an unknown and unconfirmed viral infection. We attended the walk in clinic on 3 occasions in less than 48hrs. Two occasions we were directed by NHS Direct and once by our GP. In total we waited 15 hrs and we were still not attended to by any medical professional! Absolutely disgusting! The staff at the entrance of the walk in centre are very rude and dismissive added to which they should be required to have English language as a requirement and level that is accepted in a professional position. Prioritising of patients is a complete mystery and unacceptable and I have personally found that my husband and I are now being treated with discrimination. I will be proceeding with a further grievance against the hospital staff.

We were rudely spoken to by a female nurse whose name has been noted and will be addressed with her misconduct and unprofessionalism towards members of the public within a caring environment .

On a final note, I will never recommend the hospital to anyone that needs care or treatment in the future due to such poor standards.
