What I liked
My mother, Mrs. Dorothy Jones, was taken to A & E and then to Bishopstone Ward. The service she got from the medical staff was excellent. I cite particularly the two sisters on duty in A & E in welcoming her, making her feel at ease and in easing all our minds regarding admission to Bishopstone. The medical staff in the ward were also excellent, and my mother, particularly fussy with her food, found the catering staff and food also excellent. Parking was well organised. Thank you all.
What could be improved
I was not happy with the telephone service. It is expensive, especially when relatives are at such a distance and the patience needs reassurance. Also, two minutes are wasted in their introduction before putting people through to the patient.
