"i was admitted to minster ward ..."

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

i was admitted to minster ward from A&E I cannnot praise the staff high enough from the consultants down to the cleaners the nursing staff were wonderfull nothing was to much trouble i watched them go about the care of patients with true dedication how they maintained ther cool in the face of some very dificult patients is beyond me but they did so well done to them. Not one word of complaint did i here about the catering or the food quality. So well done QEQM and thank you.

What could be improved

What let down the quality of my stay in the ward was lack of maintainance to the shower room i:e broken shower handset holder and tube a small an inexpnsive thing to put into working order (has been broken for weeks) not a problem if fit and healthy but a swine if you are incapcitaited also plug missing from basin in toilet small things like this can make a lot of differance.

then there is the tax on the sick i refer to the unwarented impossistion of a £20 fee for the ward clerk to stamp my hospital saving association form who ever imposed that should be ashamed of their self
