About: Six Degrees IAPT

(as the patient),

Been feeling down for months and it was getting worse. My GP referred me for counselling.

I saw Helen. She was very good with me. She was patient, listened, got me to open up about everything that was worrying me. This helped me talk things through more at home with my wife and daughters.

She told me to try and make time for myself a little bit more and do things you used to do. It took a while putting things in order to enable me to do this but I am there now.

I am now sorting things then letting it go. Boy has that made a difference.
