About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

A recent occurence required some surgery on my foot, and the multiple visits, as an in-patient and then out-patient, gave me a good overview of the hospital.

Generally the staff are extermely helpful with a willingness to go the extra mile. On te downside there appears to be some contradictions between nurses and nurses, and nurses and doctors which undermines the potential impact.

What could be improved

When a diagnosis is made, and the doctor sets out a plan of action, unless the plan is likely to have a detrimental effect, the nurses should remain out of the information stage unless they are providing supporting information. Giving alternative information as a priority is bad and undermines others.
