I paid privately for an operation at Mount Alvernia expecting a decent level of care and attentiveness. I was subjected to an ordeal by the complete lack of care I received. I was given no food even after repeated requests for food they could not be bothered to feed me. I pressed my call bell for assistance and they ignored me and reset it.

I was not checked regularly. Even when I asked for a basic cup of tea I was told they were too busy. I was left covered in blood for hours.

My husband and I have asked for a refund and listed 15 failings of this Hospital but we have once again been ignored. What a surprise as they ignored me during my overnight stay.

Please find a better hospital.
