Anything else?
I visited the hospital on 16th April for a Laproscopic Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) and cannot praise the hospital highly enough.
The information received prior to my admission was both thorough and helpful.
From booking in to aftercare every healthcare worker I met was incredibly professional, efficient and caring. I was struck by how hardworking and cheerful all the staff were, which is incredible with the current pressures they are all under.
The sister on F6 was fantastic, they were so busy and was constantly under a barrage of questions yet remained calm and efficient. I was seen fairly promptly by the anaesthetist and registrar and they took time to answer my queries fully and set my mind at ease. Their knowlege and professionalism really allayed any fears I had about the forthcoming surgery.
Finally the after care on ward F5 was amazing. One nurse in particular was a really outstanding member of staff. Their cheerful disposition really lifted the whole ward and was so efficient and attentive to all the patients, it made the overall hospital experience a pleasurable one.
I admit to being hesitant about my surgery after reading the recent bad press however having experienced the service first hand I would have no hesitation in recommending the hospital in the future.
Very many heartfelt thanks to everyone concerned. Your high standard of work was very much appreciated.
