I attended Good Hope Hospital for a total right knee replacement. I would like to thank Mr Ajnin and his team for the wonderful treatment I received. Special thanks to Mike the anaesthetist and the South African lady ( sorry didnt get your name) who were supporting me during the whole procedure. As I had a spinal block and was awake, they were fantastic with me for the several hours I was in theatre.
Also to the staff on Ward 15 and physios who I cannot fault.
Anybody who is worried about staying awake during surgery please dont worry....your recovery will be much speedier and far less painful.
