About: The Yorkshire Clinic

Anything else?

I was admitted on 18 April 2013, surgery was performed before lunch that day & I was back home, pain free, before lunch on 20 April 2013! An excellent result for a major operation.

The gynaecology team & the nursing staff were friendly & professional. My special thanks go to the surgical team & my allocated nurse, who, being on duty from 7am to 9pm on 18 April, was still at my side at 9.30pm, sorting out my catheter problem. Nothing was too much trouble for her & her dedicated care was very much appreciated.

The ethos seems to be to effect surgery as quickly as possible after admission & for the patient to be discharged as quickly as possible, thus reducing costs & infection likelihood & maximising throughput. That is just as it should be.

The en-suite rooms are far superior to local hospital wards, each patient having far more space, infection risks being reduced & the ambience being far better.

I feel so privileged that we have this wonderful facility on our doorstep. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Yorkshire Clinic.

My special Thanks go to my surgeon & all his team.
