I took my husband to the Day Unit for a procedure.I knew that I wasnt well on that day but did not want to alarm him as he was anxious about his treatment. After he was called, while sitting in the waiting room I experienced increase stomach pains and had a sense of faintness.Before I knew what was happening I was transferred to a wheel chair and moved into the recovery unit.The attention I was given was amazing.Staff were compassionate,caring and checked my obs. Once I had recovered satisfactorily I was offered tea, and encouraged to remain on the bed.

My husband had been told that I wasn't well, but as he came from his procedure he was somewhat surprised to find me there waiting for him.Both of us in recovery and both receiving excellent care.
