Anything else?
I stayed at Dart ward for 5 nights from the18/04/13. I was frightened and apprehensive on arrival and very nearly walked back out. Once I was called to prepare for anaesthesia and epidural I was calmed by the most gentle caring being one could hope to encounter. The anaesthetist was confident and reassuring .
Recovery was full of helpful nurses and the next minute I was in Dart ward.where I was treated with respect and tended to beyond the call of duty.
Everyone gave great service, tea ladies, cleaners, nurses, year one and twos etc.
Having the catheter removed was no where near as bad as I was anticipating. And was done with dignity(thanks to one nurse in particular).
The medical team were exemplary. And so,thus far have done a brilliant job.
