Anything else?
Finding I had a heart problem caused me anxiety but with the total professionalism shown by the units doctor and nursing staff ( the walk-in unit) brought me into a sense of relief and calm. I was informed the whole time I was there what was happening and why, this gave me the sense of being cared for personally not just another patient to be moved on.
Leading from the front the doctor who attended to me had the respect of the nursing staff but also in turn he respected the experience of his staff. This gave me a sense of well being which could not possibly be gained any other way.
"Anxiety into relief and calm."
