"Treatment at the Derwent"

It was necessary for me to undergo a total hip replacement last week at the Derwent Ward. I cannot praise the nurses, doctors, cleaners and general members of the team enough....

I was treated with kindness and courtesy at all times. Without exception, everyone would help in any way they could.

All treatments and procedures were fully explained to me and this relieved any anxiety I might otherwise have felt.

For me, the whole experience was positive, and I am now recuperating well at home.

Many thanks t the NHS and the wonderful Nursing Team.
