"A course of physiotherapy at Dereham Hospital"

About: Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I had knee replacement at the end of October lat year. Nearly 6 months later I am still in a lot of pain. My wife suggested to the registrar at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital that physiotherapy might help me.

I have to say that the staff at Dereham have been very good but with not being able to rid myself of pain I feel the physiotherapy has made it worse.

Knowing what I do now, I would certainly have not put myself through surgery even if it meant being in pain with worn out knees.

Win some, lose some!

We are sorry to hear that you are still experiencing difficulties after your surgery. You may want to go back to your GP for advice if you have not already done so.
