I was suspected of having anal cancer and I had biopsy done within the 14 day period and the follow up was supposed to be within 6 weeks, I wasn’t seen until 19 weeks and I progressed to have a T3 Tumour, if I would have been seen sooner then I feel as if the cancer wouldn’t of grown to such extent. The hospital blames the national screening programme for the delay of the appointment. I feel as if this reason wasn’t suitable. I thought the hospital would have been good at helping me throughout this period
