I work for a local Social Services Department and learnt that an elderly gentleman was likely to be stranded in Petersfield on Christmas Day whilst his wife was very ill in hospital in Portsmouth. He was worried about seeing his wife on Christmas Day as there are no buses. Fortunately, Vicky and the Team at Patient Advice and Liaison were able to help and kindly arranged transport and even a Christmas dinner for the gentleman.
