"I was offered an appointment that was sooner than I had imagined"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

I haven't been in the area long, but I have had 2 referrals. I was surprised to be contact by TRAQs but on both occasions I was offered an appointment that was sooner than I had imagined. I accepted an out of area appointment as my local hospital had long waiting lists. I was able to access appointments that would not fit in with work so I did not need to book time off.

Much better than a specific hospital sending me the next affordable appointment to suit them. I was also impressed that the hospital had received my referral.

Only downside - GPs don't explain this will happen.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to the TRAQS team.

I'm disappointed read that your GP did not give you a leaflet explaining the TRAQS process and that you would be contacted to discuss your options by the TRAQS team. However, I am pleased that we were able to arrange an appointment which fitted in well around your commitments.

Your feedback is very much appreciated and will be will shared with the team
