About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

I had an appointment which I cancelled due to bad weather.

From referral: 3rd week in October

TRAQs contact: Early November

Hospital appointment: Early March.

Thamk you for sharing your comments with us. I am disappointed to note the time from referral to contact by TRAQS. However, TRAQS rely upon GP Practices to provide the information to ensure we are aware of patients who require an appointment. Unfortunately this information does not always reach TRAQS when the patient expects it to. TRAQS aim to contact all patients within 5 working days of receiving the referral from their GP.

TRAQS are only able to offer the appointments which the hospitals release to us and this sometimes leads to patients having to wait longer than they would like to be seen at the hospital of their Choice.
