I am disgusted to be asked to arrange and PAY for my 91 year old aunt who is a patient in step up step down unit to have her toe nails cut by a chiropodist .I find it incredible that there is not a suitably skilled member of staff with some nail clippers who could perform this small task.

My aunt worked from aged 14 until she retired at 60 and also served in th waafs during the war.

She is still paying income tax and has paid lots of money into the nhs via national insurance.

How very typical of our wonderful nhs.
