I have an elderly relative who lives in a residential care home. The care provided by staff is excellent. The food is excellent and the home is very clean and tidy and has a lovely atmosphere.
My relative says that they would like to be involved in more activities both in and outside of the home but this seems limited. They're not sure how to go about asking for this.
In addition, they cannot leave the home without someone with them. There doesn't seem to be any provision for this or information about local services that might be able to provide support or activities.
