Joanna helped my partner complain about a worker in the Aneurin Bevan Hospital. He had trouble expressing his self-feelings going out meeting people and talking on the phone. We have just had a meeting with the complaint lady and it went really well. We don't know the final outcome yet but if all goes to plan my partner will get the help and support he needs.

Going back to Joanna. She's calm, polite and most importantly listens to what my partners needs and wanted. And she put the letter he composed into a readable content, making sure it was his words and feelings in the letter making sure not to give any opinion or judgement.

I have lived with my partner for 22 years and Joanna is one of the good guys. I can't say about anybody else in her company, as we have only had dealing with her. The first time we met her she put him at ease, and that is not an easy thing to do. This service Joanna and her company provide and have provided for us is exceptional. And when Joanna first had dealings with my partner he didn't trust anyone. But I have got to say not only did he trust her, but he trusted her enough to meet with her on his own and that in its self is a big thing because I have to go everywhere with him. I really hope that people use them and that they keep on getting the funding they need. We still have meetings with her as out complaint is only just starting and she is also helping with my partners case plan.

I can't praise them enough. She's helped my partner and my partners voice get heard if you have had problems with mental health I highly recommend Advocacy Support Cymru.
