About: Adult community services / Stoma prescription service

(as the patient),

We put in orders and they are then sent through Fittleworths. We get fast service and are happy with the service. I feel sometimes it is easier to talk to Fittleworths direct, as they are more knowledgeable about the products they have and understand my dads needs, as this is all they deal with.

Thank you for your posting on Patient Opinion. We appreciate patient feedback and was pleased to learn that you received a fast service.

With regard to your comments about speaking with the supplier, the new system in place requires a prescription prior to receiving your stoma products and this is done through our Stoma Care Team on 01709 427154. The Team is knowledgeable about stoma products and are required to undertake training in this regard to enable the correct products to be sent to your Dad.
