I was transferred from QVH minor injurys by ambulance, on arrival I was assessed and bloods taken, then I waited and waited, 3 hours later they had lost my admission notes so a doctor carried out an examination without any Obs or medical history.
I felt like he did not have a clue. He did not know what to do other than suggest I came back the next day to the eye department.
I chose not to and went to my own GP, what they failed to diagnose was a serious condition, a dissection of the carotid artery (completely blocked) with Horners syndrome. My local hospital were up to the task and after 2 days undergoing tests I am now receiving intensive treatment,
I shall be making a formal complaint.
