Anything else?
I have been having heavy bleeding and periods of up to a month, so was referred to a gynaecologist. My appointment at 4 o'clock, was for a transvaginal scan. I was so worried about this procedure but the lady doing it made me feel really at ease and it was a piece of cake but then I saw my gynaecologist. She informed me that I had 2 cysts and needed a biopsy, alarm bells should have rang when I saw the poor lady who was in before me!!!!. It was late in the day and I had been waiting some time, the nurse informed me that I had not been forgotten but they had had a difficult case that had lasted an hour, (poor woman) I think by now the gynaecologist was tired and wanted to go home and I was the last one to be seen. I was not told what to expect or what was going to happen, before I knew it I was in the stirrups and she was ready to go.(home in her case) In went the spectrum (had that loads of times) but this hurt.. ok then not a word from her and a very sharp pain making me cry out!! what the hell.. all I got was cough!! every time I cough I could feel all the equipment coming out and she just shoved it back in ..not a word, .the nurses in the room were lovely but not her!!! She then took it all back out and said what do you want??? I want it over just do it, she got a smaller spectrum and started again..... no>>>no. She then stopped again and basically told me I was a baby!!!!!! So upset... I'm not a baby. left in pain , in tears, bleeding and had nothing done. never going back.
"being referred to as a baby!!!"
