Anything else?
I was admitted to the AMU via the A & E dept. I went from the AMU to the Respiratory Unit. I am in my late 60s and hadn't been a patient since I was 6 years old and before this recent visit to Good Hope I was absolutely petrified of hospitals.
My stay was such a pleasant one and I left feeling well. The cleaning staff, kitchen staff and all medical staff were caring and attentive. All the nursing staff were well informed and kept me informed. In the Respiratory Unit there were 4 beds in small side rooms. No-one was left when they had occasion to ring for assistance - it can rapidly.
I cannot praise the staff, all staff, enough. I am now longer scared about hospitals.
"No longer scared"
