Very short staffed. Nurses not showing care and compassion and say they only have time to do the very basics. React poorly to requests and provide only a very basic service with poor attitude and short- tempered even callous care of elderly. Really shocking! Culture of ward concentrates on efficiency and money saving and leaves patients to fend for themselves in many respects. Very poor indeed. Will try to avoid this ward if possible, other wards in same hospital very good and caring e.g monitoring.
