Was admitted to Heathfield1 Ward recently following cardiac treatment at St George's, and consider that the care afforded me couldn't have been much better. Consequently, my recovery was quicker and more thorough than might otherwise have been. Food and overall care was very good. nothing was too much trouble for the nursing staff. Was discharged from hospital in just a week (had been told that it would more likely be several weeks) with extensive help from the excellent home-from-hospital team (therapists etc) which still continues at home and via outpatient appointments. Thank you.
