Four years ago I was discharged from hospital into a nursing home with heart failure and a life expectancy of 2 - 3 weeks. Fortunately my G. P. arranged for David Fearnley, a heart nurse, to visit me in the home.
He visited me regularly, adjusted my medication and within a few months I was able to go home. My health improved so much he was able to stop visiting in December 2009.
This last Christmas, in spite of flu jabs, I had some sort of chest infection which left me increasingly breathless. My G. P. again suggested David Fearnley. My wife telephoned him, and in spite of a heavy work load and being on holiday the next day he made time to come and see me. To cut a long story short he has again worked his magic and my health is improving again.
I cannot emphasize enough the difference he has made to my life. He is friendly, caring and efficient and I feel I owe him my life.
