What I liked

i have been a patient last year on a few occasions and each time found the medical staff to be excellent. sadly i cannot say the same for the nursing staff, which makes me very nervious if i had to be readmitted in the future. little in the way of input regards care plans and never saw or given one to sign. information to gp missing on discharge. food and hygiene i did not find a problem nor the fact that my husband visited outwith hours and staff accomodated this.

What could be improved

i do think it is not necessary to put main lights on at 3am in the morning.use the side light of each patient instead. allow the patient to know what is the plan of care and that it is acted upon. if bloods taken then informed what the results are and not told it is for medical staff. also inform staff who is able to reach tables when food served. it should not be left to other patients to move table.
