I had an appoiment at the Wansbeck Endoscopy unit yesterday 15.4.13 ! If I say it once I say it a thousand times thank goodness for the NHS and this applies to the Wansbeck & the staff that I have had dealings with. My whole visit was a positive experience from the reception staff to the clinical staff, I was rather nervous about having a camer down my tummy but the staff made me feel so at ease with the procedure.

Thanks so much for your lovely note about the high quality care you received on our endoscopy unit yesterday.

Like you, I'm a big fan of the NHS and so it means a lot to receive such positive feedback.

For many, coming in to hospital, for whatever reason, can be a very frightening experience. I can imagine how a procedure such as this would be a nerve-wracking prospect

I am so delighted that all members of the endoscopy team were able to reassure you and provide you with the excellent service that we want all our patients to receive every day.
