About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

mum had a dnr in notes. . mum or family not asked or consulted . . Only found out when I glanced in note . Dr issued dnr when. They were not sure what was actually wrong with mum ... And says they did not tell mum

Cos it may upset her. . And because of language barrier . The reason for not speaking to family was. " we only have limited time". So how many patients have a. DNR that do not know abou it . And would never know. ?? I told Dr I would be reporting my findings. The reply was " fair point ". Ps my mum sparks English.
