attended the dental hospital at 7.00am due to severe pain in lower molar ,there was a queue outside at that time , the doors where opened at 7.30, and ticket with supported literature explaining what the process would be was given out by the receptionist , it clearly states that registration opens at 8.30 so settled down expecting to be called up to the reception in a couple of hours , i was pleasantly surprised to be called up and registered by 9.00am the reception personnel where pleasant and helpful ,within an hour and a half i was being seen by a dentist who arranged for me to have xrays , i was seen again by the dentist and a consultant who recommended that i have the tooth extracted ,an appointment was made there and then to return in the afternoon for the extraction i attended the appointment in the afternoon ,again i wasn,t waiting that long and found the staff who where carrying out the extraction to be gentle and reassuring ,in the end the extraction couldn,t be carried out due to complications with my jaw from a previous trauma suffered years ago ,and i have been referred to hospital , i found the staff there to be professional ,gentle and reassuring and was kept informed of what was happening all along and what the best course of action should be .
Having a fear of dentist from an early age i was dreading going to this hospital but i have to say the whole experience was painless even after 4 or 5 injections to numb the jaw and gum to do the extraction , the staff make you feel at ease and if you don,t mind waiting they offer a very thorough service .
all in all very happy
"very satisfied"
