"Tiring trying to find information"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

Anything else?

I had to take my husband to hospital as he was quite unwell, when we got there it was found out he has suffereing from amongst other things, dehydration and a gall bladder infection. We had no communication or information from the staff. He had a scan and we had to continually ask to see doctors, scan results.

My husband was left, practically unattended in bed, he was supposed to have physiotherapy and he only recieved only ten minutes which was basically carried out by walking around the hospital.

To date he has been given anti-depressants which were not discussed with us and we believe that he should be on medication to prevent strokes which my husband has had previously.

I'm not very happy with the treatment that we recieved at the hospital.

I’m very concerned about the issues you have raised, however it is difficult for me to address them without knowing your husband’s name and circumstances. If you would like me to take this further, please contact me directly. Anne Cleary, Professional Lead, Acute Adult Care Tel. 01204 390732
