Anything else?
I have just had two admissions to ward F16 in the space of a few days and spent a total of 5 days on the ward. I was admitted because of severe morning sickness but it was discovered after a scan that our baby had no heart beat. Being 3 months pregnant and with no signs that there was anything wrong with the baby, this was totally unexpected.
The staff dealt with everything in the most amazing way possible, we were given all the information that we needed to decide on the best course of treatment and they respected my dignity despite the nature of the procedures that I required. I really felt looked after and safe whilst going through an awful experience and can honestly say that they made the whole process easier. My second admission was due to an infection of my womb and the treatment was yet again second to none. I felt fully informed at all times and their swift treatment meant I was home again after 2 nights. I am now at home and feel quite passionately about giving the feedback that they deserve. People are too quick to criticise and never as forthcoming when they feel they have had a good experience.
My medical history is quite complex and unfortunately I have suffered a few life threatening illness and therefore have had lengthy stays in various hospitals both in the UK and abroad. The quality and consistency of the staff throughout the day and night on ward F16 are above and beyond any ward that I have stayed on. Thank you very much to everyone who helped look after me at a really challenging time.
"Exceptional care!!!"
