From the moment I arrived as a nervous and slightly frightened patient, I was put at ease by an extremely friendly gentleman on reception. I expected to wait hours and had actually brought two books with me, but within minutes an efficient and friendly nurse made a note of my problem and less than 10 minutes later I was seen and treated by a doctor. My experience was in stark contrast to the horror stories I have watched on tv or read in the media.
