"My husband was a patient recently ..."

About: Torbay Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

My husband was a patient recently at the Hospital. He was admitted as an emergency via the 'Out-of Hours' GP Service to Hugh Guerrier Ward & transfered to Cromie Ward where he remained a patient for 11 days, apart from a short post operative spell in Critical Care Unit.

I would like to inform you that I was very impressed with the wonderful care and attention he received from everyone involved with his care.

The professionalism and demonstrated by the doctor and the Urology Nurse Practitioner were of the highest standard. I particularly want to mention the Cromie Ward Manager and the staff It was an extremely difficult and distressing time for my husband, myself and the family and the kindness that they showed to us was of the highest standard of Nursing care. This enabled us to come to terms with my husband's condition.

Please pass on my gratitude and appreciation.
