Had a gastroscopy performed today at Victoria Hospital & i was petrified! I suffer from anxiety anyway & the thought of having this done made it worse.

Arrived early at the hospital & the nursing staff were absolutely amazing! Instantly put me at ease with their caring & friendly manner.

The procedure was performed by a doctor who was also friendly and sympathetic. All options were gone through with me, no rushing or bias. Opted for sedation which was gone through with me fully & don't remember anything about it. Fantastic aftercare, cups of tea & biscuits.

Honestly could not have asked for a better service. Fantastic nurses!!
