What I liked

i was ammitted to hospital while on holiday with my family on the 29 may 08 i was taken ill in torquay and taken to hospital by ambulance the care i recieved both by the hospital and the ambulance men were second to none i was kept in overnight and all staff are brilliiant keep it up and tahnk you

What could be improved

waiting time to be admitted

Thank you for your praise for our staff. Like you, a lot of people were on holiday that week because of the Bank Holiday and half-term so attendances at our A&E were exceptionally high all week. We usually better the national target for admission times (98% within four hours).
