From welcome to discharge I felt cared for by an exceptionally good, hard working and friendly team of staff.

Sfaff introduced themselves by name and explained their role & what they were doing clearly and patiently. I particularly appreciated handover between named nurses taking place at end of bed & involving patient. There was a good efficient working atmosphere on the ward. Staff treated patients, visitors and all colleagues with respect.

I felt as if I was observing, and being given, gold standard care with real compassion.

I found it a very reassuring experience, particularly as in the past, I've had some very bad experiences at other hospitals - resulting in high anxiety. This time my anxiety melted away.

Thank you to all staff working on Elizabeth Ward.
