"Your poor staff in A+E"

Anything else?

Does anyone have any idea of the pressures that the staff at A+E are working under. Clearly no one thought through the impact of the closures of A+E departments at Heatherwood and High Wycombe.

My mother who is 89 was collected by Ambulance from her Windsor home around 3pm when i arrived at Wexham she was still on a trolley in a corridor at approx 6pm! We where finally allotted a cubicle at 7ish by 9.30 it was becoming obvious that the department was in Chaos with a bed crisis! i am confident that many were not given beds that night We finally were transferred to the AMU at 12.30. This has to be seen as totally unacceptable in any ones eyes.

We also had the unfortunate situation of my mother being admitted in January 2013. That was also a very unhappy expierence which i again alerted the NHS as to its failings although to date i have received no response.
