I was admitted via the Emergency Department to the Emergency Medical Unit recently and from the moment I walked into the hospital to the moment I walked out I felt safe and very well cared for. Everybody I encountered was professional but also kind and caring. Doctors and nurses were approachable and easy to talk to and I felt that I was listened to when I spoke to them. Even the lady who was doing the cleaning on EMU chatted to the patients as she cleaned, which was nice, and led to all the ladies in the bay chatting to each other.
