Appalling experience of the A&E Department, they were very rude.
The team monitored me due to my condition, but then I was discharged. The next day I was feeling worse.
I went to another hospital and the team there in A&E monitored me and kept me in overnight due to my condition.
I would say that there was a nurse in Elthorpe Ward which was fantastic when I was there.
I was moved from the stretcher on to a wheel chair and left in the A&E reception area as ambulance service were asked to do so by A&E staff, whilst I was waiting I experienced 2 brown outs and it took 1 and a half hours before I was called to see a doctor and then admitted straight away.
Whilst I was in there I couldn't sleep and it didn't help when the lids of the bins where banging down as they had no cushion/rubber to prevent this from happening.
They ignored other patients whilst I was there.
I think Health Care assistants need more training in compassion.
The wards are in a terrible state and this includes the condition of the windows.
