I recently had surgery and had to stay for 3 nights. I was admitted to ward 18 and stayed in ward 16. As on privious occasions I found the hospital to be extremely clean. The nursing care is excellent and compassionate. The food cannot be faulted with a wide range of options for all tastes and diets. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

The only thing I could find fault with is that the poor nurses are absolutely rushed off thier feet and over-worked. During my stay, I commented that, with a change of pinnafore, the nurse's role changed from one minute to the next. They are amazing people!

I would always recommend that anyone should select the general for treatment. I was sorry to read negative comments by other people as my third stay was as good as the first.
