Anything else?
My 90 year old mother arrived at A&E having fallen at home. In both A&E and in the minor trauma unit she was treated compassionately with dignity and respect. Doctors and nurses talked with her throughout her time and took time to support family members. At my mothers request one doctor even took the time to telephone me to discuss my mothers condition so that I would know what was happening. (I live in Wiltshire.)
My mother has to return to the hospital to have surgery but because of the support and friendliness she received at the hospital, she is not afraid of what lies ahead for her.
Thank you from all our family.
