"Frustrating telephone service"

3.50pm 3/4/13 It would help if someone would answer the 0844 hospital number after several attempts then being cut off. Asked for Pontefract - Audiology - was put through to Dewsbury.

Finally am told it is Pinderfields I need, am put through but no-one answers the phone.

How on earth an elderly person copes with this service is beyond me.

Where is the NHS service here? have to try again tomorrow.

Cant answer all your questions because I haven't managed to get an appointment for my 93 year old mother.

We apologise for the frustration caused. A detailed telephone directory, providing direct land line numbers for wards and departments throughout the Trust can be accessed via the Trust website.
