Lack of both qualified nursing staff and nursing staff generally during my husband's stay meant he suffered several indignities whilst on the ward including being dressed in inappropriate and embarrassing clothing when clean pyjamas were in his locker for example. He was frequently cold, often hungry and generally inadequately cared for both physically and emotionally.

We know this is a good hospital and that we are lucky to have it so close by but ward nursing needs to be looked at from a Patient's point of view.

Surgical team appeared to be tip top, thank you.
