Anything else?
I was not very fond of hospitals when I was younger however Pneumonia struck me back in 2011. I was then admitted into hospital and doctors and nurses where all around me making sure I was comfortable and telling me what was gonna happen next with my treatment. I was terrified when they were going to test for meningitis, but they assured me and calmed me down. The service from the entire team from AE to ICU were fab. I thought it was going to take time to recover from this however, with the right treatment I was on my feet fit and well after 4 weeks.
I'm a very independant person when it comes to injuries and illnesses and like to research my self what could be the issue however with the help of the nurses and docs they gave me an in-depth dicussion of what had happened to me, what medicines I was given and my X-Ray reports.
Overall, the experience of ICU isn't as scary as others describe it to be :)
